The 4/12/22 episode of the Podcast was recorded on 4/9/22 with two days left in the NBA season. In the last two days of the NBA’s regular season, there were numerous combinations of how the NBA’s playoff seeding could go.
Below are two brackets with the official seeding for the 2022 NBA Playoffs. These will help you follow along in the Podcast as we now know the exact matchups we will be seeing. The first bracket is the NBA Play-In Tournament. In the Play-In Tournament, the 7/8 seeds play each other, and the winner is awarded the 7 seed. The loser of that matchup awaits the winner of the 9/10 seeds. The winner of the 9/10 seed game then plays the loser of the 7/8 seed game for the 8th and final spot in the NBA Playoffs.
I have the Los Angeles Clippers and Minnesota Timberwolves getting the 7th and 8th seeds in the Western Conference and the Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks getting the 7th and 8th seeds in the Eastern Conference. If my Play-In predictions are incorrect, the 7 and 8 seeds on the Playoff bracket will look different from the one I have posted below.
